I had the opportunity to review this book for a Fitness magazine, as it is quite well known for being one of the best-selling ebooks on the Internet.
As you have stated, the book is very comprehensive and covers much more than the usual, poor quality, diet books you typically find on the Web, in bookstores, etc.
I also interviewed several past readers as part of the magazine review and they, along with many others, were quite thrilled with the results they achieved and especially how quickly their bodies improved.
This is an excellent weight loss / muscle building reference. I am glad to see you, a Personal Trainer, reviewing it here on this site. My compliments.

I just wish I had found this ebook sooner. Tom's approach REALLY works. And my girlfriend likes the results even better than me! ;)
I did have one question though. I didn't think it was possible to lose fat AND gain muscle, at the same time??

I can't believe the reactions from all my girlfriends! They all say I look like a "new woman"... and that's after only 2 months on the plan!!
Even a few "catty" ones, but that's a good thing too... shows I'm really making progress in becoming the woman I really want to be!!
I did have one question though, before I bought the book. I was worried it might be only for guys. I really enjoyed that the author wrote this for us gals too!
This program you recommended puts on the muscle fast - too fast!
I've never had any trouble keeping trim - I'm a fireman - lemme tell ya, running a fire hose up ten flites of stairs keeps ya trim! [lol]
But I wanted to put on a few more pounds of mucsle, so I tried the program. About a month after I start, my girlfriend says to me one night as we're watching tv on the couch - "you're too hard, you're not my soft pillow anymore."
I'm not kidding - she actually said this! I think maybe she was getting worried that all the other girls were startin to pay much more attention to me. [wink]
Anyways, so i've had to cut back a bit on the muscle gain. (Gotta keep the little lady happy right?) But I'm using the program to drop my bodyfat down to a more 'athletic look' - good thing for a fireman. [wink]

This Nutrition Plan is GREAT for the "older" man!!!
You should mention this, Ray. When I first read your reviews, I thought this was only for you young kids. ;-) But I purchased everything (yes, including the terrific Deluxe Editn!) becuase I thought I could probably "ramp it down" a bit to account for my age. I didn't have to!! The writer talks about things so much in-depth, that I knew exactly what to do!!!
I'm getting great results!!!
And even my wife is suprised at how much muscle an old guy like me can really put on!!!
I love Tom's stuff! I’ve read lots of articles online by him. With this book, he not only helped me get back in shape (and lose over 30 lbs!), he also helped me pack on the muscle and come back to football health after major surgery.

Tom Venuto’s name is one that is used regularly in my vocabulary, when recommending a nutrition plan and/or an exercise plan to my patients.
I usually describe the 'essence' of his exercise and eating plans. I am always referring back to the copy of his book, which I purchased about 2 years ago...

you absolutely rock ! i've recommended this book to others and they say it's the best thing they've read. i lost all the fat I wanted to ! but reading this I know that now i gotta get back into training, though it can be a little harder with two jobs.

I had a trainer. Every week when I went back to see him and he would weight me and I hadn't lost any weight. I would say to him "I just don't get it!"
The truth was I was cheating because I was TOTALLY disconnected from the REALITY of my actions.
Right after I bought the book and started reading I knew he had the solution for me. I followed one of the FIRST suggestions in the book and started to lose fat immediately!
